Oil Painting Taster Days – NEW DATES!

Dates: WEDNESDAY 23rd SEPTEMBER or FRIDAY 13th NOVEMBER or SATURDAY 21st NOVEMBER

On this 1 Day workshop you will learn the basics of oil painting with a focus on landscape painting.

Suitable for complete beginners or those with limited experience.

I will provide lots of practical advice about the materials and fundamental techniques you need to know to start painting with confidence.
Using a combination of demonstrations and exercises, we will explore colour mixing, paint application and brush handling techniques.
I will also show you how I approach landscape painting in oils. We will discuss how I use colour and apply paint to create atmospheric, light-filled paintings. Using photo references, you will work on a longer landscape study to apply the skills you’ve learned.
